Vacancy Ref. No: MF-HR/23-059Maram Foundation is a non-profit organization registered in Turkey. Maram is dedicated to providing assistance to refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) since the beginning of the Syrian Crisis in 2011.
MF works to provide assistance to the lives of people affected by armed conflict and other situations of violence. We aim to provide cross-sectoral collaborative and sustainable initiatives that bridge humanitarian assistance and development according to the needs of communities living inside and outside Syria.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely implementation and adherence to established protocols and guidelines.
- Support to identify challenges and propose solutions to ensure timely and effective implementation of activities.
- Support beneficiary accountability and participatory approaches throughout the program cycle.
- Conduct assessments and verification processes to ensure the BNFs eligibility.
- Collect data and information in the field through interviews of individuals, families, focus group discussions, field visits, and surveys.
- Ensure transparent, accurate, and timely collection of quantitative and qualitative data and information.
- Ensure a regular, effective, and comprehensive transmission of information to supervisors on a daily basis.
- Ensure collected data is accurately recorded and cross-check information with the database entry.
- Ensure that beneficiaries in the final list meet the eligibility criteria.
- Distribute the assistance to beneficiaries in the final list.
- Document all the findings in the provided data collection tools.
- Take responsibility for project equipment that you may be entrusted with.
- Report to the supervisor before and after day’s work for further direction.
- Ensure handling of all the completed household visits and FGD questionnaires for the day to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to monitor program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Report any unusual situations to the supervisor on a daily basis.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills mainly in Arabic, Turkish language is a plus.
- Should be familiar with the area or the locality they are working in.
- Ability to work independently and confidence to undergo household visits.
- Demonstrated experience in household surveys (baseline/evaluations).
- Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
- Good communication skills and experience in participatory methodology.
- Ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills.
- High professional ethics and confidentiality standards in a diverse workplace.
- Conducting field trips and travel to other cities as per job requirements.
- At least one year of related experience in the humanitarian field.
- Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
